19. Rustic Twig and Floral Display Ladder

19

Build a charming, functional wooden display ladder using gathered fallen tree branches to display your collection of dried floral bunches, cozy knit throws, or vintage lace linens. Scout your yard or local woods for two sturdy, relatively straight branches roughly four to five feet long to serve as the ladder rails, alongside several shorter branches for the ladder rungs. Trim all branches to size using a hand saw, stripping away any loose bark while retaining the natural knots and organic texture. Attach the horizontal rungs across the main branch side rails using small wood screws for sturdy construction. Wrap natural jute twine or thick hemp rope tightly around each joint in a crisscross pattern to conceal the hardware and provide a hand-bound, traditional aesthetic. Lean your finished rustic ladder against a bedroom wall to hang floral bundles drying upside down, adding vertical rustic texture to your room decor.
