Victorian Candelabra with Dripping Bleeding Candles

19

Nothing says gothic horror quite like dripping, bleeding candles. Place tall, white taper candles inside ornate, tarnished silver or black candelabras. Before the party starts, take a red candle, light it, and carefully drip the melting red wax all over the tops and sides of the white tapers. This creates a highly realistic, dripping blood effect that looks incredibly dramatic.

As the white candles burn down during your party, the heat will melt the red wax again, causing “fresh blood” to continuously drip down the sides of the candelabras. Place these on your fireplace mantel, dining table, or entryway console for a classic, romantic, and beautifully macabre lighting display.
