Cardboard Tube Candelabras
Elevate your Halloween tablescape or mantelpiece with a grand, gothic candelabra made entirely from repurposed cardboard tubes. By saving paper towel and toilet paper rolls, you can construct a dramatic, multi-tiered candle display that looks like heavy, melted wax ironwork. Arrange the tubes in a cluster of varying heights and glue them securely to a sturdy cardboard or wood base.
Use a hot glue gun to drip generous amounts of glue down the sides of each tube, mimicking the natural run-off of melted candle wax. Once the glue has hardened, paint the entire structure in a matte black, charcoal gray, or metallic bronze. Insert battery-operated LED flicker tea lights into the top of each tube to create a safe, mesmerizing glow that mimics the warm, unstable flicker of real candlelight.
