4. The Covered Passage Patisserie

4

Inspired by the famous 19th-century *Passages Couverts* of Paris, this build brings the outdoor street cafe experience under a spectacular glass and iron arcade canopy. Situated within a narrow pedesrian street bounded by two parallel shopfronts, the café occupies the center of a grand, vaulted glass ceiling built using tinted glass panes and blackstone supports. The ground is paved in intricate geometric patterns using glazed terracotta, polished diorite, and blackstone tiles, giving the passage a luxurious, historic department-store feel. Custom patisserie display cases line the cafe walls, cleverly constructed using glass blocks, trapdoors, and cake blocks or pumpkin pies placed inside item frames. The lighting here is sophisticated; brass-toned chandeliers made from end rods, lightning rods, and glowstone hang from the high vaulted roof, illuminating small wrought-iron bistro tables below. Weather never ruins the mood in this location, making it a bustling, rain-proof destination for players looking to enjoy delicate pastries and gourmet coffees in an opulent indoor-outdoor setting.
