8. The Alchemist’s Attic
Every Minecraft base needs a place for brewing, and the Alchemist’s Attic is the perfect whimsical take on this functional space.
This room should be tucked away at the very top of your build, perhaps in a sloped roof space. It should feel cluttered, magical, and slightly chaotic. Line the walls with brewing stands, cauldrons (filled with different colors of dyed water to look like bubbling potions), and bookshelves. Use glass bottles in item frames to represent ingredients. Use hanging chains and lanterns to create a “suspended” storage system. For the floor, use a mix of wood planks and path blocks to create the feeling of a well-worn, dusty workspace. Add a “hidden” enchanting table nook where the books and tables are surrounded by floating candles.
