4. The Cherry Blossom Tea House
With the addition of the cherry blossom biome, the Japanese-inspired aesthetic has never been easier or more beautiful. A Tea House is the perfect interior for this biome.
Use pink wool or pink terracotta as your base color, balanced by white wood (birch) and darker accents (spruce or dark oak). The interior should be open, minimalist, and peaceful. Use tatami-style flooring by alternating slabs or carpets. A central “sunken” floor area for sitting, using trapdoors to create a sunken look, is essential. Add cherry blossom leaf blocks as interior decor—placing them on top of fences to create “indoor trees.” Incorporate plenty of bamboo, lanterns, and armor stands wearing traditional robes. This interior is about breathability; keep the clutter to a minimum and focus on the flow of light and space.
