Macabre Victorian Skeleton Tea Party
Tell a dark, humorous story on your front lawn with a macabre Victorian skeleton tea party. Set up a vintage wrought iron or wooden garden table and chairs. Seat two or three full-sized plastic skeletons around the table, dressing them in tattered Victorian-era garments, such as lace shawls, top hats, pearl necklaces, and velvet waistcoats. Secure the skeletons in lifelike poses using zip ties and wire.
Decorate the table with a dusty, lace tablecloth, antique teacups filled with dark “poisonous” liquids, a candelabra with partially melted black candles, and a tray of faux moldy treats. Drape the entire scene in fine cobwebs and scatter dead roses across the table.
