Spooky Window Silhouettes of Terror
Turn your entire house into a canvas of terror by creating dramatic, high-contrast window silhouettes. Using black poster board, heavy cardstock, or black butcher paper, draw and cut out life-sized shapes of classic horror icons, such as a prowling werewolf, a classic vampire, a mad scientist, or grasping zombie hands. Tape these cutouts directly to the inside of your window panes.
At night, close your sheer white curtains or blinds behind the cutouts and turn on the lights inside the rooms. For an even more dramatic effect, replace your standard indoor light bulbs with vibrant red, orange, or toxic green smart bulbs. From the street, your home will look like a haunted mansion filled with restless, terrifying entities, creating an incredibly high-impact visual display with minimal effort and cost.
